Neal Schwartz, president of the Armonk Chamber of Commerce, said that the fall festival reflects a name change - it was previously called the Cider & Donut Festival - and featured more vendors and sponsors.
The festival also featured a 5K road race named in honor of Jamie Love, which served as a focal point for attendees.
Love, a Byram Hills High School graduate and University of Vermont student who died in 2013 of an irregular heartbeat, Daily Voice reported at the time.
Love participated in cross country in both high school and college.
The 5K, which was previously sponsored by Friends of the North Castle Public Library, was sponsored this year by the chamber, Schwartz said. A portion of the festival's proceeds will be donated to the library.
Several of Love's former classmates took part in the race, including the top men's and women's finishers. Tucker Nixon, a University of Vermont graduate who knew love, put the figure at more than a dozen.
Asked what it means to run in the race, Nixon replied, “it’s really important."
For Nixon, the race is a chance to celebrate with Love's family and friends; he noted that friends who he might not have otherwise seen came in.
The race took place in the morning, while several attractions followed. They included live music, doughnut fishing - kids try to eat doughnuts being dangled by adults without using hands - and pie eating contests for kids and adults.
