An accident that initially blocked a lane on a stretch of southbound I-684 Friday morning resulted in delays stretching back miles during the morning commute.
The accident, reported at 8:15 a.m., was at Route 120 (Exit 2) in Purchase with stop-and-go traffic back to Route 22 (Exit 3) in Armonk.
