10-Year-Old Recovering After Falling From North White Plains Cliff

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- A 10-year-old boy who fell from a cliff at the Cranberry Lake Preserve in North White Plains is recovering at Westchester County Medical Center, according to News 12 Westchester.

The Queens boy was hiking with his parents when he lost his footing and fell approximately 25 feet. The father, who is an emergency room doctor, called 911 for help and more than a dozen responders arrived at the scene to help with the rescue, News 12 Westchester said. 

The boy sustained neck, back and arm injuries, but is listed in stable condition, News 12 Westhester reported.
