She combined both passions by winning a singing contest of the Robison Oil jingle, hosted by The Daily Voice.  Dr. Reilly Fallon won $1,000 for her winning entry – listen to her winning entry here -- and will use the money to purchase backpacks for 200 children. Robison, the Elmsford-based provider of energy and related services, made the donation directly to Heavenly Productions Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps children in need and distress. Dr. Reilly Fallon is the chairwoman of the foundation.

“I was surprised that I won the online voting,’’ Dr. Reilly Fallon said. “I just tried my best. I figured my intentions were good and everything would work out.”

Dr. Reilly Fallon has put her perfectly tuned pipes to work before in competition. She frequently sings in the Rockland County Irish Feis and the United Irish Counties of New York feis in Yonkers. Both events are traditional Gaelic arts and cultural festivals. She has finished first or second every year in which she has competed.

“Those are the two events that I focus on every year,’’ Dr. Reilly Fallon said. “It makes me learn a new Irish song every year. It also hones my vocal skills.”

Dr. Reilly Fallon's foundation has produced the Heavenly Lullabies CD, "Heavenly Skies & Lullabies Illustrated Songbook & Cd", and a single entitled "Winter Wonderland," which also support children in need.

Dr. Reilly Fallon is a board certified wound care specialist, and foot and ankle specialist. She works at the Midtown Health Center in New York City.

“I try to use the gift that I have to help other people,’’ she said.  “I’ve always loved singing.”

Dr. Reilly Fallon has already put the money toward the backpacks, and is working with her suppliers to expedite the order.

“That made me feel really good,’’ she said about winning the competition. “If I can make 200 kids happier by getting them new backpacks, I’m thrilled, and so is our board and our volunteers. The more lives we can impact in a positive way and make a difference in their lives, the better it is for everyone involved."

Dr. Reilly Fallon said she is grateful for the support of the Heavenly Productions Foundation Board members and volunteers who truly make a difference in the lives of so many children. "I live my life by which was said by Winston Churchill,  'We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.'"
