ARMONK, N.Y. - Marie Worden, a lifelong resident of Armonk, died Nov. 28 at Waterview Hills Nursing Home in Purdy's, N.Y. She was 97 years old.
Worden was an active member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church for over 80 years, holding any and every office during her long affiliation. During the 1970's, she served as secretary, treasurer and honorary trustee at Middle Patent United Methodist Church. Worden was retired from Lloyd Bedford Cox Insurance in Bedford Hills.
Besides her friends at Bedford Presbyterian Church, Worden is survived by two nieces.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Bedford Presbyterian Church, followed by interment at Middle Patent Cemetery.
