"She had a famous attitude," Gregory Dozier said with a smile of his daughter Niccole Dozier, who leaves behind a 3-year-old daughter, Zoe Doleman. "She was loyal to you. You couldn't get a better friend."

The young Greenburgh mother was driving north on Route 22 in Armonk when her car collided head-on with a car traveling south driven by a 50-year-old Armonk woman. North Castle police reported no one was at fault, and that black ice was the cause of the accident.

Niccole was on her way to work at Brynwood Golf and Country Club in Armonk, where, her father said, she had been a chef for nearly four years.

It was always her dream to become a chef, Dozier added. After graduating from Woodlands High School in 2003, she attended  the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, graduating in 2007.

Niccole will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends and others who cared about her, Dozier said. A Facebook page has been set up where friends can upload their favorite pictures and share their memories of the young Greenburgh mother.

"RIP our angel. We were high school friends, I can't believe this," former Woodlands classmate Angela Appollonio wrote on the Facebook page. "The good do die young. God has gained an angel."

Gregory and his wife, Doreen, Niccole's mother, will care for Zoe and ask that in lieu of flowers donations be sent in Zoe's name to 29 Tomahawk Road, White Plains.

Viewing services will be held Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1 Fisher Court, White Plains. The Andre F. Baker Funeral Home, 18 Yosemite Ave., will provide funeral services and can be reached at 914-997-6900.
