Cross-Town Move in Armonk Sparks Sale, Donation

ARMONK, N.Y.- After moving from across town to McDonald Avenue, Cheryl Trembone is looking to unload some of her extra odds and ends Friday and Saturday. Whatever is not sold will be donated to charity.

According to Trembone’s sister Kim Jenkins, Friday’s sale went well and many people arrived to scoop-up anything from electronics, kitchen tools, decorative items, piano, furniture, and toys.

“Whatever we don’t sell we’re going to donate to the charities Big Brother’s Big Sister’s and Quest for Peace,” Jenkins said. “It’s a nice day and it’s been going great so far. We’ve had a lot of people.”

Trembone’s and Jenkins’ daughter Emma Trembone and cousin Olivia Jenkins helped out in sorting and selling toys and other items.

The sale will continue 9am-2:30pm Saturday.
