Armonk's Louis Coppola, 75, Honored Saturday

ARMONK, N.Y. - Louis John Coppola died at his home in Armonk on Nov. 27. He was 75.

He was born in White Plains on Dec. 8, 1935 to Isabel and Joseph Coppola. While serving in the US Army, he was stationed at a Nike base on Long Island. After his discharge, he worked as a fifth year plumber's helper. Eventually, Coppola and his wife Roberta were able to open their own plumbing business, L.J. Coppola Inc.

A member of Whippoorwill Club in Armonk for 41 years, Coppola enjoyed playing golf, especially with his grandson David. He is survived by his wife, his daughters Christine Mink and Eileen Coppola, his son Grant Coppola and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville. The funeral mass will be held at noon on Saturday at St. Patrick's Church, 25 Cox Avenue, Armonk, NY 10504.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714.
