WPH'S Dr. Mark Gordon Honored By American Cancer Society

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Last month, the American Cancer Society honored Dr. Mark Gordon, surgical director of the White Plains Hospital Center for Cancer Care and chairman of the White Plains Hospital Cancer Committee, with the 2016 Beacon of Hope Award.

Dr. Gordon was recognized for his unyielding commitment to the fight against cancer for more than 25 years. The event was held at LIFE The Place To Be in Ardsley and attended by more than 175 people. Over $143,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society.
