Daily Voice: What will make this podcast unique?
Jean Chatzky: "It's for women, by women -- about a subject we don't talk about enough: money. As we looked at the landscape of existing podcast content, we noticed there isn't much that fills that gap. And, we'll do it in a down-to-earth, easy-to-comprehend way. Just as I did on my Oprah radio show, listeners will feel like they're talking to me."
Daily Voice: What can the audience expect?
Jean Chatzky: "Great guests -- Gretchen Rubin, Jillian Michaels, Jane Bryant Quinn and many more will be in our first few shows -- questions and answers with listeners via Twitter, Facebook and phone, news you can use. If something changes in the world of money and you need to know a) what's it all about and b) what do I do about it, 'Her Money' is the place to be."
Daily Voice: Is it weekly? What are some of the topics that will be covered?
Jean Chatzky: "Yup. Money and relationships, kids and money, saving more and spending less, making your money last as long as you do, dealing with credit and debt, starting new businesses (and keeping them going), the emotions of money (and why we do things with our money that we know don't make all that much sense), I could go on...."
Daily Voice: Anything else to add?
Jean Chatzky: "I'm so excited about this. When I was on the radio daily, I routinely told my husband it was the best part of my day because I felt connected to my listeners. I'm so eager to get some of that back!"
