Monday, May 29:

Bedford: The South Salem Presbyterian Church will host its 41st Annual South Salem Memorial Day Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event, which once again features road races, children’s games, tag sale, bake sale, artist and Artisan’s gallery, vendors, food and live music throughout the day, is the centerpiece of town-wide ceremonies and celebrations, including the town parade which kicks off at 12:15 p.m., followed by a memorial ceremony at the Town House. Admission and parking, available throughout the hamlet, are free.

Lewisboro: The Town of Lewisboro will host a Memorial Day service complete with the parade beginning at 12:15 p.m. on Lake Shore Drive. A ceremony and services will follow the parade at the Town House, 11 Main St. Col. Frank Kelly will offer the address along with guest speaker Supervisor Peter Parsons.

Somers: VFW Post 8013 host its annual Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance ceremony. Step off 10 a.m. from Somers Middle School to Ivandell Cemetery.

Yorktown Heights: The Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the town will hold a special service at 11 a.m. at Town Hall. The annual parade, speeches, and more follow at 11:15 a.m. at the Yorktown Community and Cultural Center.

Tuesday, May 30:

Mount Kisco: The American Legion Post 136 of Mount Kisco will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade at 6:30 p.m. The parade route will begin at Oakwood Cemetery traveling down Smith Avenue to Main Street, ending at the War Memorial, adjacent to the Village Hall and Library. A service will be held at the memorial. The public is invited to the Legion for refreshments upon the conclusion of the service. In case of rain, the ceremony will take place inside the American Legion at 7 p.m.
