Dixie is a very sweet and gentle lady. She originally came to the SPCA as a victim of Hurricane Katrina after which she was adopted and spent 6 years with a family. She was returned when the owners could no longer care for her. Dixie is looking for a home where she can spend the rest of her days enjoying strolls in the park and resting together for long sessions of petting! She does not enjoy other dogs but promises to be a great companion for people. When she sees you her tail won't stop wagging! She is truly an ideal couch potato companion! Are you the one for her?
