Her name is Mary Lee, and, according to the non-profit global shark tracker, she could make an appearance in the Atlantic Ocean waters off New York.

She's 16 feet long, weighs around 3,500 pounds and has more than 113,000 Twitter followers. You can check out Mary Lee's Twitter account here.

Shark tracker reports Mary Lee, which was first tagged in 2012, was spotted off Long Beach Island around 5:20 a.m. Thursday and again at 6:56 a.m.
