BEDFORD CORNERS, N.Y. -- On Thursday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. Rabbi Stacy Bergman will present the first in a series of programs focusing on the Jewish connection to the Grateful Dead. This program will explore the shared cultural thread between Judaism and the themes of celebration and sanctity in the music of the Grateful Dead.

Future programs will present connections between Dead lyrics and Torah and Jewish commandments and mindfulness.

“As a long time ‘Dead Head,” I want to share my passion for their music with my community," said Bergman. “I think that there will be some surprises for everyone.”
