In the article, published Wednesday, the Times describes the hamlet as a place drawing young families and hipsters due to its Main Street full of restaurants and shopping, centering on Armonk Square, and its good schools.

The Times credited the resurgence of the town with the arrival of the new restaurants and shops, and homes that the young can customize and afford.

The arrival of the young former Manhattan residents has made the hamlet "less country bumpkin," the Times said.
