The festival is put on by the Armonk Chamber of Commerce and will feature activities and specials from area businesses.

Event chairs for the festival are Julie Dickens, of Beascakes Bakery, and Sue Allison-Dean, of Naturescapes. They currently are accepting proposals and finalizing plans, the community website reported.

“Over the years, many people came to Armonk in the fall expressly for the donuts and apple cider (served at the former Schultz farm stand),” Allison-Dean told All About Armonk. “We want to re-create that wonderful experience for those who remember it and introduce it to those who never experienced it then. People associated Armonk with that warm community feeling and with delicious donuts and cider.”
