Mother Goose Story Hour: 10:30 p.m. A perfect way to spend the morning with those who are  6 months to 4 years old. North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Italian Language and Culture Class: 6:30-8 p.m. Native-born Italian speaker, blogger, author and teacher, Mara DeMatteo will share the culture language and lifestyle of Italy in a lively group dialogue. All levels of skill encouraged to join. The first 45 minutes are for beginning lessons, while the next 45 minutes are for those more advanced. North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.

BOE Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Byram Hills Board of Education will look at its budget in their first meeting of 2013. 10 Tripp Lane, Armonk.

Town Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. Join the North Castle Town Board for its first meeting of 2013. North Castle Town Hall, 15 Bedford Road, Armonk.
