Friday, May 10

 

Art Exhibit: "Quirky Dystopia" Drawings by Eli Wald: Held all day in the Mount Kisco Library, 100 East Main Street.

Game Club: 3 p.m. Middle and high school students are welcome to play board games. North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.

Robert the Guitar Guy: 11 a.m. Guitarist Robert Markowitz performs standard and original tunes for kids ages 2 and younger. North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road E., Armonk.

Menus In The Movies: 7 p.m. Food author and flim buff Carol Durst will guide the audience through the featured film of “Truck Farm.” Homemade desserts and discussion will follow the movie. Chappaqua Public Library, 195 South Greeley Avenue.

MTK Tavern 1 Year Anniversary: 4 p.m. to Close. MTK is kicking off the celebration on Friday May 10th by hosting a CD Release Party for Folk, Singer and Songwriter Kate Flanigan from 4-8pm. They are proud to host this special event for Kate who has also been featured as one of MTK’s spotlight artists in their Women and Music series. The party continues with some of MTK’s most supportive bands. Friday night, Blonde Ambition will take the stage at 9pm with their unique blend of Rock, Pop, Blues and Motown. 30 East Main Street, Mount Kisco.

Learn Tai Chi in 2013: 10:30 a.m. Make tai chi your new hobby in 2013 at the North Castle Public Library with certified Feldenkrais movement and tai chi instructor Lawrence Attile. 19 Whippoorwill Road East, Armonk.

 

Chappaqua Farmers Market Outdoor Season: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The Chappaqua Farmers Market will welcome shoppers for their third season with new offerings.  The market's spring/summer season will now take place outdoors at the Chappaqua train station.

 

MTK Tavern 1 Year Anniversary: 4 p.m. to Close. MTK Spotlight Artist, the Geoff Hartwell Band keep the celebration going. With all the great music and entertainment, MTK Tavern will of course be offering amazing anniversary specials on drinks and food along with raffles and giveaways for all of their guests. Plus, don’t miss one of MTK Tavern’s signature Tequila tastings on Saturday at 4pm for a sampling of one of the county’s most extensive Tequila collections. 30 East Main Street, Mount Kisco.
