Westchester's 'Family Film Frenzy' Under Way

YONKERS, N.Y. – Westchester’s Family Film Frenzy kicked off Tuesday at The Brook at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers with a showing of “Hotel Transylvania" and continues through August.

Westchester families are invited to the Family Film Frenzy series continues in Mount Vernon, New Rochelle and White Plaisn.

The film series continues with the following showings:

  • July 16 - “Madagascar 3” at Willson’s Waves Pool in Mount Vernon
  • July 25 - “Finding Nemo” at Glen Island Beach in New Rochelle
  •  Aug. 6 - “Rise of the Guardians” at Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains

The parks open for the outdoor movie event at 7 p.m. and the movie begins at sundown.

Visitors are invited to bring their own picnic or purchase food at the concession stand.  Visitors should bring blankets and chairs for seating.

Admission is $5 per person and free for children under 5.  A Westchester County park pass is not required.

Rain dates are scheduled for the following day on each scheduled film event.
