Renowned Author James Patterson WIll Appear In Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Acclaimed author James Patterson is among the writers slated to visit Barnes & Noble in Eastchester as it celebrates more than 40 artists and musicians during the month of September.

Patterson and his wife, Susan, who have a home in Scarborough, will make an appearance at Barnes & Noble on Friday, Sept. 8, where there will be an author talk and book signing of their novel, “Big Words for Little Geniuses” and “The Store” as part of the Local Authors Festival.

Other scheduled authors and artists to appear include:

  • Georgette Gouveia, signing “The Penalty for Holding,” beginning at 7 p.m. on Sept. 7.
  • Local author festival featuring  Toby Amidor, Shella Chari, Gary Golio, Lynda Loigman, Hugh Price, Susanna Reich, Barbara Santarelli, Laura Schroff, Stanley Thangaraj, Matt VanFleet, and Mara VanFleet from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 10.
  • Cooking demonstration with Shannon Sarna talking about “Modern Jewish Baker” at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 12. Laura Sheppe Miller will follow with an examination of the current real estate market at 1:30 p.m.
  • There will be a special storytime with Deborah Hunt-Dolan, author of “The One-Eyed Pug,” beginning at 11 a.m. on Sept. 16.
  • Local authors festival featuring  Diana Asher, Mackenzie Cadenhead, George Colabella, Barbara Dee, Cheryl Einhorn, Helen Perelman, Isaac Sacolick, Jennifer Scuro, Daniel Slater, Roni Beth Tower, Laurie Wolk, and Lee Woodruff beginning at noon on Sept. 17. The festival includes a talk and signing with Barbara Santarella, author of “Everything I Never Wanted” at 2 p.m.
  • The second annual teen book festival, “B-Fest” will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Sept. 23.
  • Local authors festival featuring Michelle Bisson, Nancy DeRosa, Jason Carter Eaton, Lori Fettner, Eugene Harris, Louise Maniscalco, Jamie McGillian, Paula Montgomery, Barbara Nachman, Gene Westmoreland, and Carol Weston at 12 p.m. on Sept. 24.
  • A selection of authors will represent The Westchester Review on a panel beginning at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28.
