ARMONK, N.Y. -- A driving-safety course at the North Castle Public Library could yield a 10-percent discount on car insurance, the library announced.
The course, which will run for six hours, will lead to savings on insurance premiums for three years, the library noted. Drivers who complete the course can also get four points removed from their licenses. The cost to take the course is $55 for each driver.
Three sessions are scheduled, which will be at the Whippoorwill Hall section of the library. The dates are Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and Feb. 23, with all running from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
