Miller is the author of “Coming Clean: A Memoir,” which was named an Amazon Best Book of the Month in July 2013. Her presentation will run from 7-9 p.m. at LIU Hudson at Westchester, 735 Anderson Hill Road in Purchase. The presentation is free.
Miller’s book discusses how he grew up behind closed doors of her family’s Long Island home, living among stacks of newspapers, broken computers and boxes of festering junk, an environment created by her father’s struggle with hoarding. In her book, she describes her rat-infested home and how she hid her family’s secret from friends. Miller overcame the difficult upbringing and is now a successful career woman living on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
She will sign copies of her book for $20. Guests are encouraged to register by calling 914-831-2700 or by sending an email to Westchester@liu.edu
