But donning the white gown on the Thursday, Oct. 5 episode of the "Golden Bachelor" for a date idea on the ABC show starring Gerry Turner evoked emotion for the 60-year-old retired interior designer from Alexandria.

Hulkower explained the last time she wore a wedding dress was at her own wedding to her late husband, whom she misses dearly. It was the best day of her life, she said, aside from when she delivered her children, she said.

This time, was for a photoshoot date with another man.

Tears flow before Turner shares a piece of his heart with Hulkower, explaining how after his wife died, a whiff of cinnamon rolls from a bakery evoked unexpected pain for him too: His wife baked cinnamon rolls every Christmas.

The tender moment ended with Hulkower receiving a rose from Turner, and expressing that even though she still felt pain, she now has hope for love again.
