Witness Gives Poughkeepsie Woman's Possible Motive At Murder Case Hearing

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – A witness stated a possible motive during a pretrial hearing Thursday for a Poughkeepsie woman suspected of killing her fiance, according to News 12.

While on the stand, an investigator stated that Angelika Graswald said that her fiance was having second thoughts about their engagement, News 12 said.

Graswald is suspected of tampering with her fiance's kayak so that she could collect on a life insurance policy, reported News 12.

The next hearing is set for June 20, News 12 noted.
