Amanda Bryan Briggs grew up in the town, said Houlihan Lawrence’s managing principal Chris Meyers.
Her "deep ties” to the community and “proven track record position Briggs perfectly for success in her new role," Meyers said.
Briggs attended Davidson College and Columbia University’s business school.
She has more than a decade experience in the residential real estate business, Meyers said.
Houlihan Lawrence said, in assuming her new role, Briggs will have the support of Hugh Halsell, owner of Brotherhood & Higley, and longtime manager of the office.
“Amanda has been a successful realtor for years and she has a keen grasp of the digital marketing initiatives which are critical in today’s marketplace,” Halsell said.
“I look forward to working with her to continue our growth in partnership with the powerful Houlihan Lawrence brand,” he added.
The brokerage is at 161 Elm St.
