The 42-year-old clerk told police the robber was wearing a ski mask when he entered Ha’s Discount Liquors on Palisade Avenue, armed with a black handgun, around 10:10 p.m.
He said the bandit threatened him, telling him to remain still, while he rifled thorugh the register, taking $800 in cash.
The robber was described as 5-foot-8, with a large build and wearing a hoodie, dark jeans and black sneakers.
