MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Westchester seniors are invited to take part in “Celebrate Aging,” the first Livable Communities Age-Friendly Village Fair next week in Mount Pleasant.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Mount Pleasant Community Center, 125 Lozza Drive, Valhalla.
About 200 people are expected to attend. The fair will feature brain games to help seniors boost their memory, tai chi, a gentle exercise to reduce stress, and ballroom dancing. In addition, participants will learn how to expand their horizons and knowledge by using the latest technology.
The county’s Department of Senior Programs and Services and its Livable Communities Initiative and the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services are sponsoring the event.
