WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- October is national breast cancer awareness month and White Plains Hospital is hosting a fun, informative evening themed 'Girls Night Out at Bloomingdale’s' on Oct 15 from 5:30-8:30pm at Bloomingdale’s in White Plains.

The event will focus on the importance of breast screening for early detection of cancer and will raise funds for White Plains Hospital’s Breast Cancer Program.

For a $25 reservation fee, women can enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and will receive a goody bag. The fee also entitles women to a $25 gift card redeemable towards cosmetic, skincare or fragrance purchases. From 6-6:30 there will be a panel discussion featuring White Plains Hospital physicians on the importance of having an annual screening to detect breast cancer. To make it more convenient, WPH will be scheduling mammograms on site during the event.

Reservations are required and seating is limited.
