PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The winners of Pace University's Mobile App Development Bowl will be crowned by judges on April 15 on Pace's Pleasantville campus.
The competition, which began in February, calls for student teams to put themselves on the 'MAAP' by creating Mobile Apps for Aging Populations designed to improve an aspect of daily life for people ages 65 and older.
Student teams will present their best mobile apps to judges and compete for top prizes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. followed by a networking VIP Reception hosted by Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and Interim Dean Jonathan Hill of Pace's Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. At 5:00 p.m. the Mobile App Awards Ceremony will take place to reward top teams and participants for their efforts.
The afternoon will be held at the Kessel Student Center on Pace's Pleasantville campus.
