The Gala, which is the Foundation’s primary fundraiser, aims to benefit the children and schools in Byram Hills in the fashion of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dinner, music, and a performance from the Byram Hills Jazz Ensemble.
“We are very excited about this year’s Gala which brings together the entire community to show its support for education and our outstanding Byram Hills public school system.” said Michael Sanders, BHEF Chairman.
The evening will also include a raffle for diamond hoop earrings, as well as silent and live auctions. This year the auctions feature a new interactive bidding system that enables guests to place bids via smart phones and other devices.
Gala tickets are $200 per person, or host a teacher for $95, and may be purchased online at www.byramhillsfoundation.org. Raffle tickets may also be purchased online.
The Byram Hills Education Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that provides support to the teachers and school administrators to introduce innovative programs, equipment and technologies beyond what is covered by the school district’s annual operating budget. Since its inception in 1994, the Foundation has awarded 300 grants totaling more than $3.3 million.
