Shakespeare's comedy, replete with confused lovers, mischievous fairies, eager-to-please mechanicals and a changeling is one of his most popular and widely performed plays. Set in modern time, be assured that "what happens in the woods stays in The Woods."
Directed by Christine DiTota of Carmel, the cast features Tom Ammirato (Mount Kisco) as Flute, Bruce Apar (Yorktown) as Peter Quince, Anthony Barresi Jr. (Goldens Bridge) as Demetrius, Steven Bendler (Yonkers) as Lysander, Nancy Jane Blake (Peekskill) as Snout, Daniel Carlino as Puck, Isabella Marion DiBuono (Carmel), Brandi Danielle Gestri (Armonk) as Hermia, Heidi Giarlo (Port Chester) as Snug, Jennifer Edwards Kawa (Inwood) as Helena, David Morabito as Oberon (Sleepy Hollow), Mikaela Whitney Russano (Armonk), Julia Ryan (Ridgefield, Conn.) as Sterveling, Tony Val as Bottom (Port Chester) and Leah Wendt as Titania (Valhalla).
Joy Arzaga of Chappaqua is the assistant director, with musical staging by Christine Gavin of Ossining and music arrangements by Michelle DeAngelis of Bronxville.
