The auditions are from 7-10 p.m. Sept. 3 and Sept. 5 by appointment (see below) with callbacks Sept. 8.

Auditions will be at Whippoorwill Hall (North Castle Public Library -- use Kent Place entrance), 19 Whippoorwill Road E., Armonk.

You must first create an Armonk Players login account before you can schedule or cancel an audition appointment. If you already have done this, proceed directly to the audition scheduling page (you will be asked to login if you haven't already done so).

Otherwise, visit the registration page. There will be additional rehearsals closer to production. The show dates are Nov. 8-10 and 14-16.

"Something's Afoot" is a murder-mystery musical that parodies all things detective, mainly the works of Agatha Christie, especially her detective novel "Ten Little Indians."

The play involves a group of people who are invited to the lake estate of Lord Dudley Rancour. When the wealthy lord is found dead, the play becomes a classic “whodunit?”

The cast is comprised of the following:

Lettie - "The saucy maid," female mezzo 21 – 32 Flint - "The caretaker," male tenor 40 – 60 Clive - "The butler" Hope Langdon - "The Ingenue," female soprano 20 – 26 Dr. Grayburn - "The family doctor," male baritone 40 – 60 Nigel Rancour - "The dissolute nephew," male tenor 21 – 35 Lady Grace Manley-Prowe - "The Grande Dame," female mezzo 40 – 65 Colonel Gillweather - "The old army man," male baritone 45 – 65 Miss Tweed - "The tweedy, amateur detective," female mezzo 40 – 60 Geoffrey - "The juvenile; the uninvited guest," tenor 19 – 26

You should come prepared to sing, dance, act, etc. and work with others.
