Olive Garden Will Add Tablets At Tables To Place Orders

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Darden Restaurants, owners of the Olive Garden, announced it will add tablets to every table at each of its 800 locations by the end of the year, according to the Consumerist.

The tablets, which have already seen limited release in select locations, will allow patrons to order and pay for bills, the Consumerist reported. 

So far, the tablets in place have helped produce faster dining times and increased average tip percentages for waitstaff, the Consumerist said.
