New Verizon Plan Will Allow Cable Customers To Pick, Choose Channels

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- In an effort to retain clients that may be tempted to switch to online television products, Verizon Fios is introducing a package that would allow customers to better pick and choose what channels they want, according to NBC Nightly News.

The cheapest "Skinny Bundling" plan could be as low as $55 per month, which could constitute major savings from traditional cable packages, NBC Nightly News reported.

Studies show traditional cable subscribers have more than 200 channels to choose from, but only use about 17 of them, NBC Nightly News said.
