WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Officials from Anheuser-Busch are apologizing for bottle labels that some believed was helping to promote rape culture, according to USA Today.
The labels were fixed to Bud Light bottles and read "The perfect beer for removing 'no' from your vocabulary for the night," USA Today reported.
The labels were intended to help promote the brand's "Up For Whatever" campaign, but was met with harsh criticism when many felt it was promoting the alcohol-related rape culture, USA Today said.
Bud Light issued an apology via Twitter that read: "No means No. We missed the mark and apologize. We've stopped producing this label."
