Both are seasoned veterans of the food industry — and welcome additions to Brynwood, the club said.

“Our success is defined by our ability to bring the best qualified talent to Brynwood, and we’re fortunate to have attracted these men to the club,” said Jeffrey Mendell, a principal in Brynwood ownership group.

“Chef Cesar and Marco certainly have the skill and experience to elevate the dining at Brynwood, but it’s their combined passion for the art of food that is really exciting for us. Our members will have an enviable dining experience, unmatched at any club in the region,” he added.

Before joining Brynwood, Cesar spent most of his career as executive chef of the Cipriani group, where he created menus for many of its restaurants while serving at the helm of some of the world’s most exclusive catering events.

He has been involved in the opening of Cipriani locations around the world and has held positions as executive chef at Mr. C in Beverly Hills, Cipriani Wall Street, London, Grand Central, and West Broadway, as well as Harry’s Bar in Central Park South.

Arconte was most recently director of food and beverage operations at the Cipriani Restaurant in Manhattan. Born and raised in Sardinia, Italy, Arconte completed hospitality and culinary studies in England and has worked for Starwood, Accor and Jumeirah.

Wasting no time, Cesar has already begun to transform Brynwood's menus for the club’s Grille, Halfway House and catering events.

“I am absolutely the definition of a foodie,” he said.

Cesar added that he enjoys working with all styles of food, from Asian to Italian and Mediterranean, and he looks forward to creating a memorable dining experience for the members and their families.

Brynwood members will get to experience the club’s new culinary offers for the first time Thursday, April 11, when an exclusive private media luncheon will be held at noon. Reservations are limited, and RVSPs are required by April 5.
