A total of 160 stores are slated to be put up for auction, with 11 in Westchester and Putnam counties, according to federal court records.

The total includes four locations - they are in Mount Kisco, Millwood, Bedford and Cortlandt - that were previously part of stalking-horse bids by Acme Markets and Stop & Shop. The stores were dropped from the bid packages earlier this month, records show.

Seven locations in the region that will be included in the auction did not previously have stalking-horse bidders. Records show that the stores are in Edgemont, Yonkers, Port Chester, Peekskill, Patterson, Mamaroneck and Hastings.

Records show that Acme secured approval from a federal bankruptcy judge this week to purchase 70, down from its initial proposed package of 76. Stop & Shop, which initially had a 25-store package, secured the judge's approval to acquire 24.

As part of its approved purchase, Acme is acquiring 14 stores in the region. The stores are located in Yorktown; Thornwood; Yonkers; Cortlandt; Southeast; Goldens Bridge; Bronxville; Mahopac; Rye Brook; Briarcliff Manor; Eastchester; Greenburgh; Shrub Oak; and New Rochelle.

Stop & Shop did not have any stores in the region in its approved purchase.

A hearing for Key Food, the third stalking-horse bidder, was delayed so A&P union workers and the company can reach an agreement, according to Supermarket News. An A&P location in Harrison is the only one from the area that is included in Key Food's package.
