Apple Shows Off New Software, Music

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Apple unveiled what it hopes will redefine the way its users consume everything from music to news during its Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, according The Wall Street Journal.

Apple Music will take aim at users of Spotify and Pandora with a subscription-based, on-demand streaming music service as well as a global Internet radio station, The Wall Street Journal said. 

In addition, a new app simply called News will include content from ESPN, The New York Times and others to create a sort of digital magazine, The Wall Street Journal reported.
